Thank you so much for taking time to get to know a little about me and my practice philosophies. I am originally from Martin, a small town in West Tennessee. I received my Bachelor of Science degree from University of Tennessee at Martin, then went on to receive my Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Tennessee at Memphis. While in Memphis, I met my wife, Beth, who is from Southwest Virginia. We chose Chattanooga due to its small town charm, wonderful schools, scenic beauty, and its close proximity to both our families! We have two children who are the light of our lives, and constant source of entertainment.
My practice is focused on providing you with exceptional dental care in a comfortable atmosphere. I offer many dental services that include cleanings, cosmetic restorations, crown and bridge, root canals, complete & partial dentures, periodontal (gum) therapy, extractions, and dramatic whitening procedures. I also offer sedation dentistry, known as 'sleep or relaxation' dentistry to help comfort high anxiety patients. I also welcome children of all ages into the practice.
My ability and practice spans from simple care to extreme dental makeovers. I have trained at the prestigious Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies (LVI). I am dedicated to keeping my knowledge and skills of advancing dental practices up to date through continued lifelong involvement in clinical and academic dental studies. My practice is committed to keeping up to date with the newest technology to benefit your care. One example is the diagnodent, a laser used to find cavities in very early stages and in hard to see areas. Intraoral cameras and digital photography allow for outstanding treatment, beautiful restorations, and the best communication possible. Digital radiography (x-rays) saves you from prolonged radiation exposure of conventional type x-rays, up to 90% less!! We also have the ability to make most crowns and other beautiful porcelain restorations the same day so you don't have to wear temporaries, get numbed twice, or miss any extra work! I have developed special techniques for providing exceptionally comfortable dental treatment.
